HOUSTON COUNTY:  Ashford Police, Ashford Fire and Ashford Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at US 84 and County Road 33. Reports are possible 3 juveniles are injured.

The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Ashford Police.

The accident was dispatched  as a serious/critical injury accident involving a Volkswagen with three children in the vehicle.

The injured were transported by Ashford Rescue to a DOTHAN hospital.

Ashford Police Chief Quinton Vann is in charge of the investigation. Assisting on the scene Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Gordon Police Chief Jim Mock, and Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah.
