HOUSTON COUNTY: A Ashford Police officer on patrol spotted a vehicle making a wide reckless turn on Oak Street in Ashford when the officer stopped the vehicle and got out to make contact the driver took off.
The Ashford officer gave chase onto Broad Street and then onto rocky creek road. The pursuit was reaching speeds of 100mph. Other units from Houston County, Ashford and Cottonwood responded along with units from Alabama State Troopers.
All four in the vehicle had to be transported after the driver wrecked out at Rocky Creek and September Road.

Ashford Rescue Unit medics notified Houston County Sheriff 911 the patient was attempting to remove themselves from the stretcher while in the emergency department of Southeast Health.
Additionall Houston County Sheriff Deputies have arrived in the Emergency department to gain control of the suspect.
