DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:    The Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Health, still known in lawsuits as Southeast Alabama Medical Center, is Rick Sutton. His full name is Richarrd Otto Sutton.

RSN is getting text messages from people in the hospital, which by the way, has www.rickeystokesnews.com blocked from their internet.

TEXT MESSAGES:

" I know how you love Southeast Health info...2 - 4 hour wait times in the ER at Southeast Health. I have been here 3 and I am still waiting. They send a nursing student to speak to patients irate in the waiting room to let us know that the whole hospital is on diversion and they are having to hold inpatients in the Emergency Room. Rooms that are empty are dirty. The cafeteria is now open and I know that no employee is going to miss their lunch. The bathrooms are shut down for remodeling and the entire floor is shut down for remodeling. Way to go new CEO! GREAT PATIENT CARE." " To worried about cosmetics then patient care."

This person writes more " I have a cancer patient sitting next to me that came in with chest pains and he has been waiting 3.5 hours. I am almost to my 3.5 hour wait too".

Rick Sutton ( Richard Otto Sutton ) is the Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Health, also known as Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was hired by a 13 member Board of Directors who answers to no one.

Sutton does not believe in answering questions and has zero concern what the community thinks. He will not be deterred by his mission, whatever that mission is. He does not want to be asked any questions and the Board of Directors meet in secret, the minutes of the meetings are secret.

And very honest with you, Rick Sutton is to much of a coward to be interviewed by me. Because he knows that I do not care about his advertising dollars and he controls all of the other media because he spends dollars with them.

And FYI - he was spending dollars with me. And at the time when I saw what was happening to Houston County’s largest employer, Southeast Health, I started exposing him knowing when the advertisement came up for renewal it would not. 

In fact some of the Board of Directors have been to some of my advertisers threatening them about advertising with me. Some have told those board members what they could do and some have stopped advertising. That is their choice.

But if they can watch what is going on and live with it then they can advertise elsewhere. 

But I put patient care above dollars being spent with www.rickeystokesnews.com    Your health is more important. Just wish others felt that way.

Textin’ Rickey.... just FYI we had to take my oldest daughter to ER on Christmas Day. Went to Flowers like any sensible person would. Waited about 15 minutes for her to be seen. On a holiday when absolutely everything is shut down.
