HOUSTON COUNTY:  At 6:30 PM.. Houston County Deputies are on the scene of a reported armed robbery at the Dollar General on US 84 in Cowarts. Reports are a male subject  possibly a juvenile has robbed the store.


Deputies have set up around the area searching for the suspect that was running into the woodline.

At approximately 6:25 PM, the Houston County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an Armed Robbery in the 100 Block of Eddins Rd., in Cowarts, AL.  Deputies and Investigators arrived on scene and began an Investigation.


Sheriff's Office is currently looking for an identification of the suspect.  If anyone has any information about this crime, or identity of the suspect, please call the Houston County Sheriff's Office at (334) 677-4807 or (334) 899-1111.
