UPDATED at 1:57 PM...Single Vehicle Accident Claims the Life of a Houston County Man

HOUSTON COUNTY: Taylor Police, Taylor Fire and Pilcher's responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at Hwy 605 and Paulk Road. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Houston County Sheriff’s Office and members of Dothan Houston County Emergency Management also responded to the scene. The area where the crash occurred is closed until could be cleaned up.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Taylor Police.
Pictures are being with held pending notification of next of kin.

The driver has been identified as Donnie Gene Blackburn of Taylor.
