HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple Fire units from Cottonwood, Lovetown and Hodgesville responded to a report of a structure fire at 1070 Grove Street in Cottonwood. Reports are flames visible. 


When first units arrived they found flames coming from the structure. Cottonwood Police and Memebers of Dothan Houston County Emergency Management are all on the scene.

Fire units are still on the scene. The Structure Fire is difficult to put out due to the material constructed.


Cottonwood Rescue was on a medical call prior to the structure fire. Pilcher Ambulance had their back and responded to the scene to stand by until Cottonwood Rescue was able to return.


Cottonwood Mayor Ken Hamilton was on the scene. Red Cross responded to meet the needs of the residents.


The residents were at work at the time of the fire.
