UPDATED at 6:00 PM... Motor Vehicle Accident on Hwy 52 and South Watford Road

GENEVA COUNTY: Around 4:55 PM... Slocomb Fire and Slocomb Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at on Hwy 52 and South Watford Road. The injured were transported by ambulance to the hospital. Geneva County Sheriff’s Office and Slocomb Police also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
Pre-pair for delays when traveling in this area until it can be cleaned up.
UPDATED @ 6:00 PM
We have learned that one person was air lifted to the hospital and a second by ground. Hwy 52 is now re-open and the wreckage has been cleared.
