UPDATED at 6:00 PM: Vehicle Pursuit Now a Manhunt in Pansey

Ashford Police officers and Houston County Sheriff's Deputies are in pursuit of a white male driving a green motorcycle on Firetower Road in Pansey at this time. Several more local agencies are also assisting in the pursuit of a subject believed to be an escapee.

The pursuit is now on Bodiford Road. Residents in that area need to be on the lookout for a white male (no helmet) driving a green dirt bike type motorcycle. Now on Whitaker Road area.

Now said to be in the area of County Road 75 South (of 84). The suspect is traveling in and out of fields making it hard for officers to apprehend him. 

Again, this is possibly an escapee. Anyone in that area spotting this subject and motorcycle is asked to call 911 immediately!

The search has been called off for the driver, the motorcycle was located and has been towed. The suspect is a seventeen year old that has escaped from Mt Meggs and is hiding out. Police know the suspect and will catch him eventually.
