• Late Score Costs Wicksburg All Stars  Against South Carolina


• Wicksburg All Stars  lost the lead late in a 9-7 defeat to South Carolina on Saturday. The game was tied at seven with South Carolina batting in the top of the seventh when an error scored one run for South Carolina.


• Wicksburg All Stars collected four hits and South Carolina had six in the high-scoring affair.


• Wicksburg All Stars got things started in the first inning. Breeley Taylor grounded out, scoring one run.


• South Carolina knotted the game up at seven in the top of the fifth inning, when an error scored one run for South Carolina.


•  Wicksburg All Stars tallied three runs in the fourth inning.  Wicksburg All Stars's offense in the inning came from a walk by Carly Kimel and a groundout by Emma Claire Creel.
