Jack Helms, A 7 Year Old Who Doesn't Want Birthday Gifts...

On August 22, my grand nephew, Jack Helms of Dothan, Al, will be seven years old.  His birthday party was this past Friday, August 16. 

Jack decided several months before his birthday that he did not want gifts for himself but instead would like to have his family and friends donate money to Love In Action Ministries in Dothan to help the homeless.  It warms my heart, as I’m sure it will others, that a seven year old would be willing to relinquish his birthday gifts to help others.   He still has donations coming in, but his Mother, Dawn Nance, plans to take him to Love In Action on August 30^th to present them with the money he has raised, which at this time is around $700. 

Could you recognize this outstanding young man in some way and hopefully, the publicity will encourage/inspire other children to do the same.   Thank you for your consideration.
