New Hinson Baptist Church 1143 County Road 48 Slocomb, Al. 36375 will celebrate their homecoming Sunday June 8, 2014 starting at 11:00am. The church is pleased to announce that multi-award winning Southern Gospel Duo Mercy Revealed will be leading the church in worship. Brother Stan Cook will be preaching in the morning service. Lunch will be provided after the service.Mercy Revealed, ba sed out of Ocala, Fl., consist of Laura Tice, Stan Cook, and Sharon Cook. The group was awarded the 2013 Duo Of The Year and Entertainer Of The Year with the ACGMA, 2014 Tradional Gospel Duo Of The Year with NACMAI, and has been nominated for Group Of The Year for 2014 with the Artist Music Guild. They have performed with such legendary Gospel music groups as The Hoppers, The Nelons, Steve Ladd, and many more. "Being recognized by our peers is wonderful, but, we focus our ministry on reaching the lost for Jesus, bringing hope to the hopeless, and encouragement to those in need" stated Stan Cook.
