A Party for the Park

On January 25, Landmark Park will host the annual fundraiser, A Party for the Park, in the Stokes Activity Barn. Pitmaster Chris Bradshaw, owner of The Blue Plate Restaurant, will roast whole hogs over an open pit outside the barn. He will also prepare racks of ribs and Boston butts. These items are not available on the Blue Plate menu. Only a limited number of tickets will be available, so make sure to reserve yours soon. This event makes a perfect after-Christmas party for companies. Tables of eight are $240 and individual tickets are $30.If you can’t stay for the event, take out orders will be available. Racks of ribs ($25) and Boston butts ($20) may be preordered and picked up at Landmark Park between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the day of the event. Call 334-794-3452 to order tickets. Deadline to order is Jan. 18.
