The weather is cool and it's time again for some famous Brunswick stew made by the Ashford Lions Club. We will be selling 600 quarts of stew at Efurd's Grocery in Cowarts on Saturday, November 17, from 11 am to 2 pm or until the stew sells out, whichever comes first. See an Ashford Lion for tickets which are $6 per quart or call 334-803-9800 to reserve your tickets for pickup on site. Get many quarts so you can wow your family at Thanksgiving! This stew freezes nicely so don't limit yourself. See you on Saturday!
