CHRIS PORTER TO PLAY IN THE 4TH ANNUAL BASKETBALL TOUR CLASSIC.
Officially confirmed as of late Sunday afternoon; with Coach Jeremy-Squirt Hollis of the IAM-All Stars, Wiregrass native, former Auburn University stand out, and former NBA star; now NBA D-League Champion 2014 with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants ( Official Affiliate of the Indiana Pacers) , "Chris Porter" is scheduled to take the court against the world famous Court Kingz ; this Saturday May 10th @ Dothan High School'; The 4th Annual Basketball Classic Tour. Chris Porter has played in several professional and international basketball leagues since his professional debut back in 2001 with the Golden State Warriors. He is a native of Abbeville, AL; and has attained recent success in the NBA D-League; The 6'7", 215lb, Forward also adds these awards to his resume: 2x CBA Champion (2002, 2004) , USBL Champion (2002), 2nd Team All Amercian (1999), and SEC Player of The Year ( Auburn, 1999). The Wiregrass area is prepared for a big homecoming celebration as Porter takes on the newest basketball Phenom Baby Lebron and StreetBall Legend "Phillip Champion" also known as Hot Sauce; whom is currently ranked as the worlds #1 StreetBall player. The Court Kingz (67-0) faceoff against the IAM All Stars; game time is 7pm. Tickets are available for purchase at CiCi's Pizza in Dothan. Kids 4 and Under are FREE and general tickets are $10.
