Every Day is a Good Day….A Memorial to Remember LCPL Jason N. Barfield

September 2011, the family of LCPL Jason Barfield, along with numerous friends, was saying what would soon be their last goodbyes. Planning has begun for a one year memorial for LCPL Jason Barfield, his bravery, his strength, his smile. On October 27, 2012, Ray, Kelli and Savannah Barfield, with the help of so many, will be holding a memorial for LCPL Jason Barfield. The memorial will be at the Ashford Depot to remember LCPL Jason Barfield and to benefit Toys for Tots as well as A HERO Foundation. The ceremony includes a variety of speakers who will touch on things that have happened over the past year because of LCPL Jason Barfield and his unsurpassed bravery, along with presentations and words from friends and family. The presentation of a video will begin at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony services will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. Everyone attending please bring a toy or donation for the foundations who will be present. There will be refreshments and remembrance t-shirts for sale to benefit Toys for Tots and A HERO Foundation. More than anything in this world, LCPL Jason Barfield loved to give to others any way he could, and that is what the hopes are for this memorial.
