On January 24 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., local barbershops will offer advice and encouragement to fathers through the national Fatherhood Buzz program. Fathers are invited to visit a participating shop with their families for information on how to have a healthy new year. Healthy You, Inc. will facilitate the conversation. st yles Unlimited, Squirt and Louie's, DJ's Classic Cuts, H Town Barbershop, Cutz by Stalk, Who’s Next Barbershop, Upper Kutz and His and Hers Barber and Beauty are the participating Dothan shops. This event is part of the national campaign through President Obama’s Fatherhood Initiative, Fatherhood Buzz, typically done four times per year. Healthy You Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit formed in 2010 in Dothan. The mission of Healthy You, Inc. is to enhance quality of life for citizens of Alabama through educational health initiatives and public awareness campaigns teaching personal responsibility when making lifest yle choices.
