Federal resume writing seminar set for Feb. 17 in Colquitt County     

ATLANTA – Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) career centers in Moultrie and Camilla, along with employer committees in Colquitt and Mitchell counties, will sponsor a resume-writing seminar for veterans and other job seekers who are looking for civilian jobs with the federal government. 

The two-hour seminar, beginning promptly at 1 p.m., will be held Friday, Feb. 17, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4380, located at 1106 Fifth Ave., S.E., in Moultrie. 

Sharon Thompson of Lowndes County, a human resources representative from Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, will lead the seminar. It will focus on how to complete a federal resume and fill out an application for employment with a U.S. governmental agency.
