KARATE TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED

The Department of Leisure Services and the World Yoshukai Karate School will host the 35 th Annual Southern Region Open Karate Tournament on Saturday, November 1st at the Dothan Civic Center.

Registration for participants will be held on November 1st from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Dothan  Civic Center on the ground floor. Competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. There is a $50 registration fee. Spectators are welcome and there will be an admission charge of $6 for adults and $3 for children ages
6-12. This year’s Tournament Host is Mike Culbreth, 7th Degree Black Belt and Hiroaki Toyama, 8th Degree Black Belt and Directors of the World Yoshukai Karate Kobudo Organization.
