May 6th NAMI Wiregrass will be hosting a educational meeting about guardianship for loved ones who take care or are concern for those who have mental illness. Judge Davenport will be there to answer questions and help figure out what is best for our families. It becomes a struggle for a parent when a child who struggles daily with mental illness is or becomes of age and not able to deal with their everyday needs. What would be the caregiver’s responsibility, how can the caregiver give the proper guidance and care that is needed.
