New Performing Arts Director for the City of Dothan

I am proud to announce that Marshall Perry has been selected as the next Performing Arts Director for the City of Dothan subject to approval by the Dothan City Commission at the next Commission Meeting on July 16, 2013. Mr. Perry is currently the Director of Marketing and Sales for the Crown Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He has over 15 years experience in the operation and management of arenas and performing art centers including the promotion of events. Previously, he was Manager of the Salina Bicentennial Center in Salina, Kansas; Managing Director of the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge, Ohio; and Executive Director of the Township Auditorium in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Perry brings a wealth of experience to this position which will help build on the tradition of the Civic Center and Opera House as community facilities operated and promoted to add to the recreational and cultural opportunities of the City of Dothan and the Wiregrass Region.
