Thank You Wiregrass Community for Helping our Homeless Population

On Saturday, November 19, 2011 a Homeless Stand Down event took place at the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center. We asked for support for the community to help supply items the Homeless population needed such as clothes, socks, combs, hair brushes, blankets, sleeping bags, personal hygiene items, can food, and tents. The community rallied together with an overwhelming response which made this Homeless Stand Down a very successful event. On behalf of the Homeless in our community and the Southeast Alabama Coalition for the Homeless, thank you Wiregrass for all your support. Without you and the media, this event would not have been so successful. Again, thank you!
