Music has been the sole of this community for all walks of life and always will be. Music in its purist form will be on display this weekend in our very own Tri-State Orchestra. If you have not experienced this Orchestra or better yet if you have children who have never experienced an orchestra, then you owe it to yourself and your children to attend! The Academy Awards honors this music and scores every year because of its ability to move the audience. Now we have the opportunity to be “moved” right here in The Wiregrass. It seems we are always looking for things to do in here and now we have something that will teach a culture that has been around since we have been a country, a music that defined our nation so make sure you get to this one because another opportunity will not be available for a long time! So rent the movie when it comes out on DVD but take they time to create a magical experience in your life even if it is for a short period of time the music will take you to a different place.
