Wiregrass United Way 2-1-1 BBQ Bash Yard Party Fundraiser April 13, 2012


Gates will open at 5 p.m. this coming Friday, April 13th at the Houston County Farm Center for the Wiregrass United Way 2-1-1 BBQ Bash Yard Party Fundraiser. $10 adults, $5 students with I.D., $5 Senior Citizens 65 and older, and children 6 and under get in for free. Proceeds for all Friday, April 13th general admission tickets go directly to support our 2-1-1 program. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy classic rock under the evening stars while you visit with your friends and neighbors. This is a family event. Food and beverages are available for purchase (no coolers allowed inside). Fun for all ages – free activities for kids, as well as rides and games too. The Yard Party will feature classic rock from everyone’s favorite band the BopCats. Opening for the BopCats on April 13th at 6 p.m. is the very talented Kristan Mikala. In addition to the Yard Party, Wiregrass United Way 2-1-1 is selling tickets for a lucky person to win a LARGE Green Egg Grill/Smoker package which can retail for up to $1200. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and currently on sale by calling 334-836-1963 or purchase your tickets at the Yard Party by visiting the 2-1-1 booth where the Green Egg Grill will be on display.
