Eufaula High Bass Fishing Team wins BIG!

Twenty three East Alabama High School Bass teams competed in the second tournament of the year this past Saturday at Lakepoint. The Eufaula High team of Dylan Pugh and Dozier Greer annihilated the field with a 5 fish limit and winning weight of 15 Lbs 12 oz. Beulah high school anglers Austin Smith and Ty Cobb finished second with 5 lbs 2oz and Beulah high team Dusty Johnson and Trevor Brown finished 3rd with 4 lbs 10 oz. Eufaula high team Morgan Parmer and Cody Rosen again finished strong in 7th place with 2 lbs 7oz while Zach Barnes finished 11th with 1 lb 12 oz for Eufaula. Pugh and Greer also earned points for the big fish of the tournament with a 4 lb 3 oz largemouth. Pugh and Greer are currently leading the chase for the anglers of the year with Parmer and Rosen in 4th and team Gifford and Moore in a tie for 5th. These high school anglers also got to spend time with some of the collegiate anglers from the University of Georgia, University of Auburn, Georgia Southern, Abraham Baldwin College and other colleges during weigh-in Saturday. A special thanks goes out to the Georgia Southern team who hosted the collegiate tournament and invited our high school anglers to join them for weigh-in. This was a great experience for our anglers. EHS will compete in their next tournament on March 30th at Lake Harding.
