Eufaula High Bass Team West Point Tournament

On April 20th the Eufaula High Bass Team competed in the 4th tournament of the East Alabama High School Bass Trail on West Point Lake. Despite the bitter cold conditions and wind the team of Cassandra Gifford and Andy Moore were able to bring a limit of 5 fish to the scales for a total weight of 6 Lbs 4.8 oz and took home a second place finish. Central High Schools Jeremy Hutchins and Nick Pratt took first place with a 5 fish limit weighing 7 Lbs 4 oz while Beulah High schools Dustin Johnston and Trevor Brown finished 3rd with 6 Lbs 4.2 oz. Cassandra Gifford and Andy Moore also took home the award for Anglers of the Year while Eufaula's Dylan Pugh and Dozier took home awards for largest fish of the year for their 4 Lb 11oz lunker caught on Lake Eufaula. The East Alabama High School Bass Trails Championship tournament will be held May 4th on Lake Eufaula at Old Creek town park.
