Headland Bass Team - Big Bass Winner at Alabama Children's Classic

Safe light dawned at Lakepoint State Park in Eufaula, Alabama with 117 teams setting out in the Alabama Children’s Classic. As the temperatures climbed, the tournament proved to be a tough day on the water for many. The Headland Bass Team's McCord and Phillips however had the right combination that morning to land the Big Fish of the tourny -- Phillips hung the fighter that weighed 6.39 pounds! McCord and Phillips finished 33rd in the field with 15.89 pounds. Cole Burdeshaw and Jacob Hartzog also finished well in 40th with 15.14 pounds. The Headland Bass Team was proud to be part of the benefit tournament which raises funds for the Children’s of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.
