Headland Bass Team Ready to Compete

Anticipation and patience coupled with over a year of planning, has finally paid off for four local high school students from the City of Headland. The young anglers have decided to pursue their dreams of competing in the world of tournament bass fishing. The Headland Bass Team will be challenged with their first tournament at Lake Martin this Saturday, February 22nd, 2014. This event is the first of five tournaments in the 2014 East Alabama High School Bass Trail. Team members include: Cole Burdeshaw, Zach Buchanan, Jacob Hartzog (all Juniors at Headland High School) and Peyton McCord (a Sophomore at Headland High School). The Headland Bass Team plans to enter all of the East Alabama High School Bass Trail Tournaments, some of the Eufaula Bass Trail, Chattahoochee River Rats Trail an local charity tournaments.
