Several good sacks of bass were caught by Anglers participating in tournaments on Lake Eufaula and Lake Seminole this weekend but it was slow going for most of the day. We fished the Eufaula Bass Trail tournament Saturday;  my partner (Thad Crowley) and I weighed-in a 19+ sack of fish to finish in sixth place but we had to cover over 4 miles of shoreline to catch em. The largest sack of bass (23+ pounds) caught in the Eufaula Bass Trail tournament came off ledges and trash piles (according to rumors). The bass hit a wide variety of lures at both lakes but but we had the best luck tossing small plastics into heavy cover. Our Angeles on Lake Seminole said worms were their choice. One 10+ pounder was caught Saturday by a local Angler using a worm and another said he and his partner caught "the limit" on 6" Green trick worms. We have not received any reports on the bream and catfish bite. Let us know if you caught any.

The water is clear and hot (average water temperature is 89.9°) at both lakes and in the river so go early to get that good bite. Good luck!
