Red Retrievers Asking for Donations to Air Condition Dothan Animal Shelter

Many of you may not know, but the Dothan Animal Shelter is a separate facility from the Wiregrass Humane Society. The Dothan Animal Shelter is in great need of donations to help get the building air conditioned. Some of the rooms in this older building, which houses many animals waiting to be adopted, do not even have windows in them. The animals are caged and have to endure miserable temperatures throughout our hot summers. Some days it is over 100 degress in the building! Plastic bottles filled with frozen water are being placed in some cages just to try and help cool the animals. The Red Retrievers Project is asking for donations to help fund this much needed project AS SOON AS WE CAN GET IT DONE. Please help us by donating any amount you can.
