Amanda Blair, 27, passed away January 2, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained during the severe weather Monday evening.


Services will be 10 am Saturday January 7, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Spivey and Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Opp, AL with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.


Amanda was born August 30, 1989 and resided in Rehobeth, AL her entire life. She enjoyed music and loved animals. She was loved by many friends. She was free-spirited and very bright. She loved everyone she came into contact with. Her smile and beauty could brighten everyone’s day! She was a graduate from Rehobeth High School and her hobbies included reading, fishing and enjoying time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her mother (Lawana), aunt (Michelle), her sister (Misty), Nanny (Sheila Spivey), pepaw (Chuck Spivey) and father (Bobby).


She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Lawana and Bill Henrich; her father, Bobby Blair; two brothers, Brandon Gamble and Jeremy Gamble; a sister, Misty Blair; a step-brother, Ben Henrich, and a step-sister Courtney Henrich.
