​Anne Warren Bryars Black, age 95, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018. 

​Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 3, 2018 at First United Methodist Church withRev. Tonya Elmore officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

​Mrs. Black was born July 21, 1923 in Enterprise, child of Albert Brown Bryars, Sr. and Clem Warren Bryars.  She was a 1940 graduate of Coffee County High School.  She attended Huntingdon College and the University of Alabama.  She was Executive Secretary of the Red Cross in Enterprise, AL.

​Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband, George Black, a granddaughter, Leigh Anne Collins and a son-in-law, Fran Collins. 

​Survivors include her son, William Shostrom III (Bill) Dothan, AL;her daughters, Anne Collins, Sevierville, TN; Kimberly Stefaniak, Enterprise, AL; step daughters, Pattie Black Ducey (Mike);  VeeVeeBlack Brown; grandchildren, Billy Shostrom: Alan Shostrom; Alex Collins (Robyn); Jeff Johnson; David Stefaniak (Holly); 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Brown Bryars (Jackie) Enterprise, AL; nieces, Susan Russell (Paul); Laura Harris; nephew, Bubba Bryars(Starla); several great-nieces and nephews.
