Judith "Annette" Watkins, age 77, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2018, after an extended illness with family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, Dothan, on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm.  Officiating the service are Reverend Don Tew and Reverend Jerry Starling.  Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 1:45 pm.  Burial will follow at Mt. Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Mt. Enon Baptist Church Mission Team (3167 Iris Road, Dothan, AL, 36301) in support of her 5 family members attending.

Annette was born on August 31, 1941 and lived most of her childhood in Ashford.  She married the love of her life in 1958 and resided in Dothan, Houston County, AL.  She was an active member of Mt. Enon Baptist Church, and loved fishing, golfing, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lavada Dillard, her youngest brother, Roger Lee Dillard, and son-in-law, Dwight Jackson. 

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James Edward Watkins; 3 daughters, Angie Jackson, Brenda Berryhill (Ronnie), Michelle Bridges (Stanley), and 1 son Dwayne Watkins (Becky); 4 sisters, Sue Harden (Robert), Rhonda Conrad, Larada Ellison (Danny), and Evelyn Cox (Phil); 2 brothers, Kenneth Dillard (Penny) and Garry Dillard (Tina).  She was the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren.  Surviving grandchildren are Casey Jackson, Kylie Jackson, Tanya Berryhill Hodges, Jennifer Berryhill Winter, Zachery Watkins, Anna-Marie Watkins, Tyler Strickland, Hunter Bridges and Jessica Bridges.  She also has 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild whom she loved very much.

Active pallbearers are Zachery Watkins, Tyler Strickland, Casey Jackson, Joseph Winter, Phil Newman and David Sewell.
