Annie Lois King Sewell of Geneva passed away on Monday, December 03, 2018. She was 72 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Tracy Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Head United Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sewell was born in Coffee County, AL to the late Woodrow Wilson and Willie Pearl Fleming King. Mrs. Sewell was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved the Lord and stood firm on her faith until the end. She worked at Wex-Tex in Samson for many years. She later retired from Van Heusen. Oak Grove Pentecostal Ministries was blessed to have had her as a member of their congregation for many years.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter, Benita Snell; two brothers, Edward and Henry King; three sisters, Evelyn Reynolds, Joyce Rodgers, and Nell Langley.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Edward Sewell of Geneva; one daughter, Melissa Black (Dewayne) of Winfield, AL; three grandchildren, James Mullins (Samantha) of Eldorado, MI, Marcus Snell (Lindsey) of Montrose, MN, and Angel Key of New Brockton, AL; three great-grandchildren, R.J. Mullins, A’ Marie Caldwell, Trinity Caldwell; and one son-in-law, Keith Stayer of New Brockton, AL.
