MIDLAND CITY…Arthur Gene Seagers, a resident of Midland City, died Thursday June 28, 2018, of accidental smoke inhalation at his home. He was 75.

  Arthur Seagers was born in Grimes and reared in Dale County, son of the late Oliver Lee Seagers and Gladys Evelyn Parramore Seagers. He was a 1961 graduate of Midland City High School and was formerly employed by Hayes International, Martin-Marietta and Boeing Aircraft as a Supervisor. Mr. Seagers was a member of the Magnolia Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Vincent Alan Seagers.

  Surviving relatives include two sons, Rapheal Scott Seagers (Lori Culp), Midland City; and Joseph Todd Seagers (Holly), Opp; two brothers, Joe Seagers (Gloria), Headland; and Gary Seagers (Susanna), Winter Garden, Florida; three grandchildren, Vince Seagers; Derrik Seagers; and Caden Seagers; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Seagers and Henry Seagers.
