Barbara Ann Lassiter Connell, of New Brockton, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 67.

 

In keeping with her wishes, memorialization will be by cremation, and the family will hold services at a later time.

 

Barbara was born May 2, 1950, in Clermont, Florida, to the late David James Lassiter and Darthy Jean Todd Lassiter.  She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

 

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, George Connell of New Brockton; her mother, Faye Lassiter of New Brockton; five brothers and sisters: Kenneth Lassiter (Charlotte) of New Brockton, Judy West (Sam) of Dothan, Howard Snellgrove (Nioka) of New Brockton, Audrey Sheppard (Eric) of New Brockton, and Mary Hollowell of Dothan; one stepson: Geoffrey Mark Connell; aunt, Ann Jones of Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews, many other family member, and loving cousins.
