Barbara Taylor Christian, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle. She was 89 years old.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Christian was born on April 19, 1929 in Allen County, Kentucky to the late Ethel and Hubert Taylor. She was a 1946 graduate of Glasgow High School in Kentucky and attended Western Kentucky University. She moved to Dothan in 1968, where she resided until her death.

She is survived by her five daughters and two sons-in-law: Cecile (Weatherly) and John Morgan of Opelika, Carol (Weatherly) Dracos, Linda Weatherly of Dothan, Melissa Christian of Richmond, Virginia, and Pam (Christian) and Stuart Walkey of Kennesaw, Georgia; six precious grandchildren: David Breth, Leigh Morgan Mott, Faith Morgan, Claire Dracos, Mark Dean and Hannah Dean Petterson; and seven much loved great-grandchildren.
