Barbara E. Barry, lovingly known as “BB”, age 73, of Enterprise, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Father Zachary Greenwell officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice Agency of your choice.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

Mrs. Barry is formerly of Dorchester, MA and Marshfield, MA. She graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1966. She spent much of her career managing home health care agencies in Massachusetts. She was a patient wife and a devoted mother and grandmother.

BB enjoyed sodoku, playing solitaire and making her famous wacky cake for all birthdays and fudge for Christmas. BB was new to social media and began posting on facebook. She enjoyed keeping tabs on her grandchildren’s sports and events.

She was predeceased by her husband, David J. Barry on December 13, 2017.

Survivors include two daughters, Maura Marshall, Strafford, NH; Colleen Barry, Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two sons, Kevin Barry (Megan) Bloomfield, NJ; Brian Barry (Karin) Enterprise, AL; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan and Ethan Barry; Allison and Dylan Marshall; Joshua and Owen Barry.
