Barbara L. Simmons passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at SEAMC in Dothan.  She was 68.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Johnny Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Enterprise City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 PM on Wednesday.

Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, Lettie and Lehman Bradley; sister, Joann Strickland; brother, Billy Bradley.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Simmons; children, Melinda Dooley (Vince), Patricia Bass (Mike), Wayne Simmons (Marie); 8 grandchildren, Brad Moore (Casey), Michael Moore (Becky), Courtney Hudson, Tyler Bass, Michael Dooley, Chris Dooley (Kellyn), Wendell Dooley, Stephanie Dooley; brothers and sisters, Betty Grice, Mary Beth McLendon, Wilmer Bradley, Nell McCourry, Danny Bradley, Pam Paulk; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Baylee, AJ, Alyssa, and soon to be born, Nova and Colton; and several nieces and nephews.
