          Barbara Lucy Leatherwood Overstreet, 95, a resident of Ozark, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 14, 2018. Lucy was born March 15, 1923 in Pike County, Alabama to James Madison (Mannie) Leatherwood and Allie Corinne Bludsworth. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home.

          Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, James Madison (Mannie) Leatherwood and Allie Corinne Bludsworth, her first husband Gerald D. Weed and her second husband James D. (JD) Overstreet; sisters, Idabell Thompson, Ruth Pace, and Lucille Corely; Brothers, Willie Edd Leatherwood, Joseph Leatherwood, Massie Leatherwood, Fletcher Leatherwood, Hardy Leatherwood, and Marcus Leatherwood; Step-brothers Frank Carr and Hugh Mack Carr; Step-sisters, Erin Newkirk and Lucille Sasser. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and long time friend Sharon Davis.
