BETTY  FAY  SCOGGINS

CAIRO, GEORGIA. . .Betty Fay Laster Scoggins,  former resident of Cairo, Georgia, died early Thursday morning, November 22, 2018, in the Oak View Waverly Hall, Waverly Hall, Georgia. She was 71.

            There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time.

            Betty F. Scoggins was born and reared in Cairo, Georgia, daughter of the late Howard Laster and Autry Cox Laster. She lived most of her lifetime in Cairo.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Nivena Garner, Missouri; and Vanessa Mathis (Steve), Cairo, GA; a son, David Carroll (Jan), Shorterville, AL; three sisters, Barbara Sweat and Jeanette Barrett, both of Cairo, GA; and Jeanelle Sweitzer, Missouri; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
