Betty “Faye” Robinson McGhan, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama passed away after a long illness on Sunday, January 21, 2018. She was 81.

Faye was born on December 21, 1936 in Pike County, Kentucky. She was a homemaker, a great mother and friend. If she liked you, you were fine; if she did not, you were in trouble. She always said what was on her mind and never changed a word. Faye was a fighter and a real firecracker who told you what she thought if you asked her a question or for advice. If you were having a bad day, she could always say something to make you smile.

Faye was preceded in death by her father, Cleston Robinson; her mother, Gredis Nichols; her husband, Mac McGhan; her sisters, Mae and Roberta; and her brothers, J.C., Dover and Curtis.

Survivors include her children, Mary (mag) Martino, Wanda Fischer and Billy Maynard; her grandchildren, Linda Sue Norsworthy, Daniel Fischer and Larry Donaldson, Jr.; 6 greatgrandchildren; her sisters, Virgie Robinette and Tilda Hinkle; and her brother, Leon Robinson.

A special thanks to the staff of Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Center.
