Betty Sue Hall, a resident of Cottonwood, AL passed away January 1, 2018 at a Dothan hospital. She was 80 years old.


Mrs. Hall was born April 9, 1937 in Houston County, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Retha Mae Womack. She was a member of Howard’s Grove Baptist Church. Her most enjoyable times were spent growing flowers in her yard, which she loved dearly and fishing.


Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Junior Hall; grandson Rustin Bodiford; brothers, John Lewis and Ray, Bobby, Rex, and Don Womack; sisters, Carolyn Meadows, Freddie Mae Womack, and an infant sister.


She leaves behind her daughters, Brenda Weathers and Melinda (Richie) Bodiford; her sons, Ricky Hall and Randy (Nonie) Hall; grandsons, Brian (Lee) Bodiford, and Trenton Hall (fiancé Dana Still); great-grandsons, Ben Graves, Cade Bodiford, and Jaxon Bodiford; great-granddaughter, Dalayna Revells; brother, Tommy (Thedus) Womack; several nieces, nephews, and a special friend Charles Weathers.


Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, January 4, 2018 from Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service.


Active pallbearers will be Brian Bodiford, Trenton Hall, Ben Graves, Cade Bodiford, Jaxon Bodiford, and Johnny Slaughter.


The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff of 7th Floor East at SEAMC for their caring and compassion.
