Betty Sue Smith, of Enterprise, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 68.


 


Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Dr. Michael Mynatt and Chaplain Wayne Krist officiating.  Burial will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at noon and continuing until service time.


 


Betty was born April 16, 1949, in Coffee County.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.


 


She was preceded in death by her parents: Riley T. Sims and Nora Cardwell Sims; and two brothers: James “Acey” Sims and William R. Sims.


 


Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Earl Smith of Enterprise; daughter, Kimberly Ann Sanders of Jackson’s Gap; son, Michael Smith (Michaela) of Enterprise; five brothers: Riley Sims (Deborah) of Enterprise, Wayne Sims (Barbara) of Enterprise, George Sims (Deborah) of Montgomery, Howard Sims (Patsi) of Wetumpka, and Robert Sims (Rachel) of Montgomery; three sisters: Louise Baldwin of Section, Sally Brown of Crossville, and Stella Ball of Wicksburg; four grandchildren: Kinley and Grayson Sanders, and Caleb and Hudson Smith; one great-grandchild, Teagan Beck; numerous nieces and nephews.
