MIDLAND CITY. . .Bill M. Bowman, a resident of Kinston, formerly of Midland City, died Monday night, October 30, 2017. He was 58.

            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, November 2, 2017, in the Sanctuary of Praise, Midland City, with Pastor Ricky Martin and Brother Mike Shroades officiating. Burial will follow in the Midland City Cemetery. Holman Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 P.M. Thursday in the church sanctuary.

            Bill Bowman was born in Dothan and reared in the Midland City area where he lived most of his lifetime before moving to Kinston in 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, George Bowman.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Lanette Mason, Kinston; five daughters, Amy Parker (Will), Murfreesboro, TN; Becky Barfield, Dothan; April Ingram (Jason), Webb; Salina Hughes, Columbia; and Kelly Harrison, Dothan; two sons, Billy Bowman, Kinston; and Chris Bowman, Murfreesboro, TN; his mother, Nellie Bowman, Midland City; three sisters, Joann Jackson (Wayne), Kinston; Rebecca Clark, Midland City; and Mary Davis, Headland; two brothers, Willie Bowman, Midland City; and Donald Bowman, Napier Field; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
