Bobby Gene Maddox, 61, a resident of Dothan passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers are being accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL 36111.

Mr. Maddox was born June 25, 1955 in Donalsonville, GA and lived the early part of his life in Jacksonville, FL where he resided until moving to Dothan in 1975. He was in the logging industry for most of his working life and was a car enthusiast.

Survivors include his son, Robert Maddox; his daughter, Renay Cunningham; his brother, Russell Maddox; his sister, Lisa Myers; his niece, Erica Gray along with two granddaughters, two nephews, and two more nieces.
