Bonnie Chamblee, of Samson, passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2016. She was 84. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Weeks Memorial Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jimmy Eddins, Chaplin Chris Adams, and Rev. Wynese Lolley officiating. Burial will follow at Weeks Memorial Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Samson on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Chamblee was born in Holmes County, FL on February 24, 1932, to the late Roy W. Stafford and Viola Smith Stafford. She was a longtime member of Weeks Memorial Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harvey Chamblee of Samson; daughter, Patricia Chamblee Broxton (Sonny) of Geneva; son, Keith Chamblee of Samson; five grandchildren, Chad Broxton (Robin) of Westville, FL, Selina Broxton of Newnan, GA, Kayla Barley (Clint) of Enterprise, Braden and Brett Chamblee, both of Samson; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wynese Lolley (Johnny) of Sellersville and Louie Slaughter of Westville, FL; brother George Stafford (Elaine) of Westville, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
