Brenda Helfrick-Gibson, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence. She was 61.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 3 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 2:30.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Vernell and Sarah Vinson.

Survivors include her daughter, Joy Strickland; a son, Matthew Gunter; a granddaughter, Braelynn Strickland; her sisters, Barbara Waite, Jill Parker and Lisa Reeves; her brother, Keith Hodge; and several nieces and nephews, Jessica Hicks, Mandy Waters, Lee Senn, Brooks Senn and Eric Senn.
