Buffie  Owens

Buffie Owens, age 46 of Dothan, died late Tuesday afternoon, March 13, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness under the care of Covenant Hospice.

In keeping with her wished, Buffie will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

Buffie was born August 21, 1971 in Dothan and lived in the Dothan/Cottonwood area her entire life. She was an LPN for many years and her last place of employment was at Laurel Oaks Youth Detention Facility. Buffie didn’t prefer a service. She would rather keep it real because she thought life goes on and didn’t want anyone to grieve over her passing.

Buffie is survived by two boys, Jeremy Owens (Samantha Sam) and Jalen Whaley (Brianna Clayton), all of Dothan; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Gene Kimbrel of Cottonwood and a nephew, Colby Edmondson of Dothan.
