MONTGOMERY. . .Carolyn Price Vann, a resident of Montgomery, died early Friday morning, September 16, 2016, in the Crowne Healthcare of Montgomery, after a brief illness. She was 68.

            A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 18, 2016, in the Headland Methodist Cemetery in Headland, Alabama, with Reverend Phil Craddock officiating.  Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Stegall Seminary Scholarship Endowment Foundation or Headland United Methodist Cemetery Fund.

Carol was born December 17, 1947 in Montgomery, Alabama. She retired with twenty-eight years of service from Montgomery Public Library. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Solomon Vann and Florence Armstrong Vann.

Survivors include two brothers, Jack Armstrong Vann and Dr. Richard Kennedy Vann (Sherri), a niece, Sally Vann Wiggins (Raley) a nephew, Richard Kennedy Vann, Jr. (Jennifer), and four great nieces.
