Carolyn Sue Elmore

With heavy hearts, the family of Carolyn Elmore, age 66, of Clayhatchee, Alabama, announces her passing on February 16, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 o’clock P.M. Friday February 22, 2019 at Providence Cemetary in Clayhatchee, with Family First Funeral and Cremation Care, Dothan, Alabama directing.

The highlight of her life was when grandson Henry was born. She called him the Miracle Baby. Her face would glow at the mention of his name. Carol was a warm and tenderhearted individual to the less fortunate and especially to animals. One of her favorite things to do was to take her special friend, Mrs. Lucy Moore to bingo. She lovingly cared for the elderly and handicapped. Carol would often be by the roadside or in a ditch to rescue an animal.

Carol leaves behind to cherish her memories, son Gary (Tiffany) Fugate, the greatest grandson ever, Henry Fugate, all of Ozark, brother Jim (Deborah) Fugate, Houston Tx, her beloved fury friends  Prissy, Tito, Cash, Man-Man, Frosty, Pocket, Benji and Baby Girl. a large extended family and many friends.
